Sessions, Prices List and FAQ
What should I wear headshots?
For headshots, we take photos with 3 different backgrounds, white, black and grey and each has its own lighting set-up. It is recommended to wear something what has contrast to the background and feels comfortable. We take 9 to 12 shots per background which allows you a large selection of shots to choose form for your desired application.
Can I change Outfits between shoots?
By all means. You can change up to 2 times per background setup.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. You can bring a friend. But no cell phone or any other photos may be taken.
Can my friend have photos taken with me?
Up to 5 photos with you. If your friend wants solo photos taken, that would be an additional session charge and if time permits.
When will my photos be ready?
Your photos will be ready for view and your selection in 5 to 7 days.
When is payment due?
50% deposit due at the time your session is scheduled and the balance due at the beginning of the session. Additional items purchased will be paid in full at the time of ordering.
All our sessions:
Sessions usually last from 30 to 90 minutes. Entire proof set can be purchased for $150.00. Photos selected will be professionally edited. Sessions are performed in our home studio located in Crystal Lake or on location within 15 miles of our home studio. Locations over 15 miles, $3.00 per mile round trip additional.
Session Fees include a choice of 6 images professionally edited.
Wardrobe changes are welcomed.
In addition to our normal backgrounds, we have hundreds of digital backgrounds to choose from. Addition charge of $50.00 per digital background added per image.
Headshots:
6 High-End Headshots (in our home studio) 3 different backgrounds. 27 or more photos to choose from. $125.00
On location, we supply one neutral grey background or your office or home as a backdrop.
$195.00 on location, over 15 miles, $3.00 per mile round trip additional. Each additional person to be photographed, there will be additional $50.00 charge.
Family portrait session:
Family Session: $225.00. Family, Grand Parents, Pets, Toddlers. Includes your choice of 6 edited photos.
Maternity Session: $195.00. Usually performed in the home and/or the baby’s nursey or a location of your choice. Locations over 15 miles, a $3.00 per mile round trip additional.
*Mini Session in our home Studio only: $150.00
Birthday, Portrait, Couples, Engagement etc:
Session lasts up to 30 minutes. Choose 6 photos.
Additional images may be purchased at $15.00 per image.
